Edward F. McHale is a founding partner of McHale l Slavin. Mr. McHale brings long and extensive trial experience to the firm’s intellectual property practice and is an AV®Pre-Eminent (Peer Review Rated) by Martindale Hubbell.
He began his career in 1975 with the Dade County State Attorney’s Office where he ultimately became a Division Chief. As a major crimes prosecutor Mr. McHale was among a group of attorneys responsible for the most important cases in the office, including capital cases. After leaving the State Attorney’s Office he represented individuals in a variety of federal prosecutions.
Since entering the field of intellectual property law in 1984, with one of Florida’s leading patent and trademark lawyers, Mr. McHale has litigated numerous patent, trademark, copyright and trade secret cases involving a wide range of individual and corporate parties in the Federal Courts of Florida, and around the country. His practice is devoted exclusively to intellectual property litigation.
